These are the days...the sun, the gentle breeze, some mellow playlist in the background, the ambiance of the park, a light breakfast with coffee, a paper on my lap and a pen on hand. What else could I ask for? And there I write...
Early this morning, I went to a drive-thru for a one time breakfast: a sausage & egg pandesal with coffee float for breakfast. I also added a dessert treat too, a taste-test of the NEW Choco-Cappucino Magnum! With everything on the list checked, I was thinking where should I eat this? In my room or somewhere else. I urgently asked for a straight-up poll and yelled this while I was driving to my unknown destination; for those in favor of article A. JK's Room, please raise your hand; and for those in favor of article B The Park, give a hand and answer. Stomp! Stomp! As all the votes verified and thoroughly tallied by our official counting master "Me". The "B" have it! "To the park we go!!!" haha
Then, I chose one corner of the park and parked there. Put the both sides of the windows down and stretched my feet to the other vacant (passenger) seat and slouched comfortably. I put my phone at the dashboard and played some mellow music for inspiration. Carefully placed my coffee float next to it. Sausage & egg pandesal on my left hand, a paper on my lap, and a pen on my right hand.
I stared at the sunny skies and gave a deep thought... what was it again that I was dreaming about last night?
Malapit na ang October. So it got me thinking, that month should have been my last experience at work. Damn! Seriously, as much as how light my work load is--I'm gonna miss it. Super! So I'm thrilled that we got this 2 month extention. Yay! Something to look forward till December.
There were lots of bits and pieces of scenes in my head that I'm figuring out how to conform into a story. Through it all, I just roughly made a confrontation scene of a newly formed blue-eyed vampire and a quaint superficially skillful facile female witch. I know, its a fantasy themed story that probably those who read this would think that I've been watching too much Vampire Diaries series, that it sort of corrupts my thought processes or dream notions to be exact. Haha.
Nonetheless, as I head home, crashed to my room and settled near my table. I keep on writing the patterns and the characters of the story: elaborated about the unusual family ancestry, the school setting and-the-weird-things-that-happen-when-night-comes, a bleating family secret, the untoward ways of tracking vampire preys, relationship dilemmas, brother and sister backdoor cat-fights, trauma of the past, and some strange midnight gatherings (that-some-should-not-dare-stumble-upon).
Whew! Well, I hope I can finish this story. Yet, sometimes the trouble is always the process of starting but the tricky thing for me (every time!) is finding how to make a decent ending or even finish the whole thing.
Sooner or later. All there is to hope.
