The Merry Drinking Fellows

Let's hang our tears to the bright kindred skies,
just lay paralyzed--take aim at that bright red star..
and into your eyes they guide such like..
a shinning paradise.
Soon these dreams will fill up the sky,
bleed out until none's left but one's desire
that in this half-filled strange 'guise
such uncertain moment leads to
a beautiful twilight.
~poem title "Merry" finished @11/11/2012

When you're drinking beer one night..lost count on the number of cans you've emptied out..
listened for hours to a strangers' anecdote of a love drunk conflicted phone conversation, while another friend (who's smoking on the other side) is sharing stories of her unperturbed love dilemmas.
I got lost with the time . . .

Just another day. A day for the resting souls on November 1.

I don't even know why I'm drinking up till midnight--it was never my plan--but still I cherish the canned beer even if its not cold anymore.  I take it in with no satisfaction whatsoever.
Just for the sake of drowning the none existent misery--merry drinking is actually what I miss--that is with some old Friends.

I slouched back to the wall to where I'm sitting at and trace the midnight sky in a different light . . .
wondering. . .

"Will it rain tonight?"

I think this is one of the few instances in November 1 where it didn't rain. Usually it rains in days like this.
So the next day, I woke up with a terrible hang-over. Still I checked in to work, had breakfast and did some field work (or as it seem, the fields literally) you know what I mean?! (as few friends would know by what  I meant). Anyways, I guess I have to thank Michelle for bearing with my hangover blues (lalo na sa text haha) Iced cold coffee always taste better when you got a friend to share it with ^_^

Note: In remembrance of friends who I've met and loved ones that still lingers in my head . . .

Judith Agpaoa, Kuya Noel Sanchez and Nanay Ayds you are eternally missed!

Heaven's gonna wait for you.
