Thirteen faces; Thirteen hearts. One circle.
It all started with Five; an uncanny group of five nurses, learning the ropes, starting on a one-step ladder profession. And with this kind of profession the first step is to do VOLUNTEER jobs.
Days passed the party of Five suddenly became Six, then slowly to Nine till it reaches lucky THIRTEEN. Superfriends by the numbers.
Days were fun-filled, easy as it goes, with no care for worries, jokes kept on pouring as also with the friendly get-aways, the beach, the drinks, the special celebrations and the food trips.
I could say those days were the perfect moments I've ever had. I bet those of you who'd be reading this might say, I'm saying this as an exaggeration but lemme truthfully share..
ever had that one particular moment where you've felt like it's the best moment/experience in your life that you need not change one thing about it nor erase the good or the lil bad happenings which has truly been one of the highlights in your life?
And I'd still say, looking back, that that was one of the best times that I had.
There were Thirteen of us, and now there are about probably 6-7 since most are now working outside the country. And only about 5 of them who's able to meet and get in contact with.
A change can be drastic at times, but that's part of life even though its abit saddening to see.
There are alot of things I miss back then and a lot of reasons of knowing. I find it great actually to meet these TWELVE lovely souls. It makes me even lighter, more livelier. Sila ang enervon-C ko hehe.
I don't mind the pressures (although there are times that it puts me to a low whenever I'm stressed!) I must admit though planning for trips and group outings is really stressful especially noting the dates and every nurses schedule sheeesh. haha.
Sometimes its funny to point out, the usual one's you get to see, would be sometimes the one you rarely talk to while the friend you don't usually hang-out with, will be the one you'd be seeing most of the time now. haha. But I reckon, the emphasis of knowing abit of everyone. Actually, I'm fond of towing around to whomever (If someone asks me to go with 'em, I'd go in an instant, especially when its FREE haha) Its just appropriate to say, that I don't just tag-along and be-friend to just one person in the group but I'd rather play the role in the middle pack where I got to see each and everyone who's leading and the one's who's least visible; and then hold them together if ever there might be a time that it might be on the verge of collapse. Carpenter mode! LOL! (On that note, I need a fix on something on)
So I go around with everyone and make the most of it--shared secrets that not all should know about, talked about random things, chatted about whatever, get wasted, got cried on, been sober, shared foodtrips and roadtrips with, laughed for no reason, and made fun of alot of things under the sun.
It's like, I had one of the best parts in this. I do what I can; I mean well anytime. And I'm truly grateful and honored that I've got to share this simple and meaningful times with each and everyone in the group.
